Baile na Scolairi

Baile na Scolairi is a branch of the Middle Kingdom of the Society for Creative Anachronism, an international group that studies and selectively recreates the Middle Ages. Founded October 28, 1985, Scolairi includes members from Bloomington/Normal, Illinois, and the greater McLean County area.

Meetings

Baile na Scolairi meets the first Monday of the month, 7:00pm, at Ruby Tuesdays in Bloomington. Arts and Science Meetings are usually held the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays at the 1st United Methodist Church, Normal.

Heavy Armour practices are held (in good weather) on various Sundays (2-5pm) at Fairview Park, Normal.   For details on armoured practice contact the seneschal.  Rapier practices are held on various Sundays, 1pm, at Fairview Park in Normal (weather permitting). For details on rapier practice contact Lady Catalin Zoldszem.  Archery/Thrown weapons practice are held (in good weather) Saturdays, 10am, Maxwell Park, Normal.  For details contact Lord Llywelyn ap Gwyn Anglesey.
